OUR FIRST CAR BOOT SALE
The weather was glorious, the helpers were enthusiastic, the sellers were delightful and the firies were there in their bright yellow uniforms. Buyers couldn’t help but be impressed by our first ever Car Boot Sale!
Setting up began at 7:00 am – both in the carpark and in and around the hall.
Not only was there a large variety of items on sale, but it was also possible to listen to music in the church or to obtain a delicious morning tea in the hall.
Even on their days free of fire fighting, attending car accidents, conducting seach and rescues and a myriad of other commitments to the community, the firies still find time to conduct an information day for local residents.
The Car Boot Sale was rated a success from those present because of the friendly atmosphere and the beautiful setting. Hopefully it will be bigger and better next time.
Thanks to everyone who attended in whatever capacity.
