Fabulous Harvest Festival
The Mangrove Mountain Union Church Committee would like to thank all those folk who dropped in at the Little White Church on the Hill during Harvest Festival. It was wonderful to see so many people relaxing and enjoying the beautiful grounds nestled under the gum trees. The church, now 107 years old, received many appreciative visitors.
Thanks to these supporters, the café did a roaring trade as did the plant sale. The stalls selling honey, candles, jewellery and art work were also kept busy throughout the weekend.
Such a venture would not be possible without a band of dedicated, welcoming and knowledgeable workers. To each and every one of you (some of whom are shown below) a HUGE thank you for your unstinting efforts. As a result of this fund-raising endeavour the Little White Church on the Hill will continue to live for another year!
Congratulations to Marjorie McCredie, the winner of our Harvest Festival Raffle. The beautiful prize was donated by Christine Raj, a local Central Coast artist who exhibited her work at MMUC on Saturday.
Those attending the Little White Church on the Hill have been truly blessed as a result of this weekend.
