Mangrove Mountain was one of the areas impacted by fires in December 2019-January 2020. Thanks to Mangrove Mountain Rural Fire Brigade and many other RFS brigades, very few structures were lost in this area. Their tireless work to protect the district and our property was very much appreciated by MMUC.
To all fathers, grandfathers, uncles and male role models – thank you. Thank you for the time, talents and love you pour into our lives. May this Fathers’ Day be a special day for each and every one of you.
Thank you Father God for your constant love and generosity.
Keeping the Covid-19 situation in Victoria in mind, it is obvious that a second wave is a real and very present threat to the health and well-being of people in NSW and the ACT. The Premier of NSW has issued the strong recommendation that places of worship refrain from gathering face-to-face wherever possible. Consequently, Mangrove Mountain Union Church will be closed until it is deemed safe to resume activities on site by the MMUC committee on advice from the state government.
Please pray for the people of Victoria, in particular in Melbourne, as they face difficult weeks to come.
