Working Bee Wonders
On March 19, 2016, members of the Mangrove Mountain Union Church staged a working bee. A lot of mulch was moved, plants were trimmed and placed in new garden beds beside the gates, the hall and church walls were given a good wash down and the property was generally given some much needed TLC.
A delicious morning tea of scones, jam and cream was provided and thoroughly enjoyed by all in attendance.
Everyone agreed that “the little white church on the hill” is ready for the Easter celebrations. These will be held on Good Friday at 3 pm and on Easter Sunday at 9:30 am.
The next working bee is scheduled for May 21st, beginning at 8:30 am. Whoever can help is most welcome to come along and join in. Morning tea is guaranteed!
