Christmas Eve Carols
Despite the wet weather, at least at the start of the evening, there was a good turn out for the Christmas Carol Service sponsored by Mangrove Mountain Union Church.
The Slade Family Singers, assisted by other fabulous performers, were just wonderful, not only singing, but also providing the backing music and acting in the nativity play as well. What a talented group of young people (and at least one “older” local personality)! Special thanks go to Rebecca Slade, our compere extraordinaire for the evening.
Supper and a chat were enjoyed at the conclusion of the carols.
The Christmas Day service was held at Mangrove Mountain Union Church by the Uniting Church. The Narara Tongan Choir contributed to the service by singing a variety of Christmas songs.
The people of Mangrove Mountain Union Church hope that each and everyone enjoyed the Christmas festivities held on ‘the mountain’.
We wish you all a happy and peaceful New Year and 2017.
