Children’s Christmas Service

Children’s Christmas Service

An extraordinary service for children has been organised to take place at the ‘little white church on the hill’. This ‘Christmas Special’ will include features not often seen or heard at a Christian service at this time. It will have the children singing along to Christmas carols from a projected image (like in school), hearing a professional opera singer, Elke Hook, sharing songs of advent at a level to which children can relate. There will be a period of a ‘messy church’ where a craft activity will be attempted. Videos of children from around the world will be shown. Yes, and all of this is for the children, both school-age and well above this age!

The service will take place on Sunday 11th December, starting at 9:30 am. It is anticipated that the service will be quick-paced, being completed in about one hour. There will be small gifts for the children at the conclusion of the service. Morning tea will be held in the hall to which all are invited.

This special time is open to all people who wish to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ.
