Australian Heritage Festival

Australian Heritage Festival

Things are really happening at Mangrove Mountain Union Church this year! We have just registered to be part of the Australian Heritage Festival which runs from April 18 through to May 20.

Keep April 29th, 2018 free for some fascinating activities up here in the mountain area – at the church, at the Mangrove Memorial Hall and at the historic homestead at Fairview.

Hall For Hire

Hall for Hire

Are you looking for somewhere to hold a function this year? Do you want somewhere quiet for those executive meetings, leadership courses or just a get-together in a peaceful location?

Mangrove Mountain Union Church is located in a beautiful bushland setting. It is within easy reach of the Sydney to Newcastle M1 Pacific Motorway (F3 Freeway). The church hall is available for hire at very reasonable rates on a casual or regular basis. Community and professional groups and organisations will find that it is the ideal location for their meetings and special events. It is both highly visible to passing traffic and yet very peaceful to users of the venue.

The car park accommodates up to 50 cars off road.

The hall is comprised of a large carpeted and vinyl floor space which seats up to 70 participants. It also includes a fully-equipped kitchen, a newly painted and carpeted meeting room (seating eight people) and one additional smaller room.

New Year 2018

Happy New Year 2018
Jesus has a simple yet passionate invitation:

“Come and you will see!”
(John 1.39)

Jesus invited Andrew.

Andrew invited Peter.

There wasn’t much of a formula.  There was just a simple invitation punctuated with contagious enthusiasm:

“Follow Me!” (John 1.43)

Jesus invited Phillip.

Phillip invited Nathanael.

We at Mangrove Mountain Union Church invite and welcome everyone: those people with a religious bent, or an irreligious inclination, Christ-followers, those people without a faith at all.

You’ll have no hoops to jump through…no hidden rules or judgement or hypocrisy or church committees you’ll need to attend.

This is just a thoughtful, challenging invitation for you to spend time with Jesus.

It’s an invitation towards a journey of life-changing proportions and explosive purpose for you.

This is why we’re excited about Mangrove Mountain Union Church.

We believe that faith is a journey, not a guilt trip.

Come and check out what we’re about and join us on a faith journey this new year, free of guilt. Discover, if you haven’t already done so, that God has a purpose for your life which only you can fulfil with his help.

Christmas Carols 2017

Christmas Carols 2017

Those who attended the Mangrove Mountain Union Church Christmas Eve Carols were in for an absolute treat.

The Tongan Choir delighted all who heard them with their impromptu singing before the Carols Service even started! The church was filled the sound of wonderful music both before and during this special time together.

Our Tongan friends sang two Tongan Christmas Hymns as well as an old favourite one in English. Two of their number, Kina and Lani, thrilled us with solo performances.

We are indeed indebted to the members of the Tongan Choir for their participation in our Carols for making it such a memorable evening.

Merry Christmas 2017

Merry Christmas!

The people of Mangrove Mountain Union Church wish each and everyone a most joyous and blessed Christmas. We hope that you can enjoy happy times with those you love.
